In contemplating such a powerful quote, one can see how this can be applied to all areas of life. In small business it is a piece of advice we all need, my friend started with a small business, which became gigantic, he had managed to move from taxi to taxi ultimately, putting one such business to management, but he opened a “cruise ship” with a partner. Of course it started more humbly, but had the potential to be a cruise ship, then a fleet of them.
Life is all about choices, in jobs, business, relationship and even retirement. Today I heard the story of a couple of people pretty well off and retired early. They choose bus over taxi, roadways over tollways. Finances are finite in business and life, how you manage them is up to you. But a balanced approach needs to be in place no matter which stage of life you are in.
At present, I cogitate over the latest iPhone or an equivalent Android at a fraction of the cost! Ah dilemmas; decisions, decisions!
